“The second nitya in the waxing moon, Bhagamalini, whose name refers to the flowering yoni, has a remarkably weighty mantra. She has six arms, three eyes, sits on a lotus and holds in her left hands a night water lily, a noose, and a sugar cane bow. In her right hand, she carries a lotus, a goad, and flowering arrows. Around her is a host of Shaktis all of whom look like her.”

“Cea de a doua nitya din ciclul crescător al lunii, Bhagamalini, al cărei nume se refera la un yoni care înflorește, are o mantra destul de complexă. Ea are șase brațe, trei ochi, stă pe un lotus și ține în mâinile ei din stânga un lotus nocturn (un lotus de culoare albastru închis, N.TR.), un laț și un arc din trestie de zahăr. În mâinile din dreapta ea poartă un lotus, o țepușă și săgeți care înfloresc. în jurul ei este o ceată de Shakti care au înfățișare identică cu ea însăși.”
